Complaints and
Grievances
If you have a grievance or would like
to make a complaint relating to any aspect of Carers’
Support, you have the right to express it and the following
procedure has been agreed as the most effective way for you
to do so.
Every effort will be made to deal with
your complaint as speedily as possible but please remember
that some cases will need time to investigate fully.

If the grievance concerns a member
of staff, it needs to be brought to the attention of the
Chief Executive of Carers’ Support and the matter will be dealt
with within 14 days.

If you are still dissatisfied
once you have received the reply from the Chief
Executive and you wish to pursue the matter, you may put a complaint in
writing and the Chief Executive will pass this to the
Chair of Carers’ Support. The Chair will acknowledge
receipt of complaint and respond within 28 days.

Your complaint will be discussed
with yourself (and a representative if you wish) at this
stage and the Chair’s response will be confirmed in
writing.
