Befriending Scheme

A trained volunteer meets the carer regularly face to face.  This is what one of our carers had to say:

 

“ I am writing to express my thanks for helping me through difficult times. Peter has become not only my befriender, but a great friend who has given me so much support in enabling me to make new friends. This year I have become involved in a local Community Group, and without Peter’s support I know I wouldn’t have achieved this ...“
